Dear Friends and Family,

As we approach the upcoming Shas-A-Thon and the immense privilege of completing the Siyum HaShas once again, I find myself reflecting more deeply than ever before.

For several years, I’ve taken part in this incredible initiative with great pride and emotion. But this year is different. This year, I carry with me the pain and the memory of a personal loss—our precious son, Daniel a"h, whose neshama was returned far too soon.

While many await the moment of hearing their child’s first cry, we were tested with the opposite—the unbearable silence of goodbye. In this moment of deep sorrow, I find nechomo and purpose in dedicating my learning and siyum in Daniel’s memory.

Every daf learned, every tefillah whispered, every moment of connection to Torah will, I pray, be a zechut for Daniel’s neshama and a source of light and blessing to all those still waiting to embrace a child of their own.
